Well, my first time on this forum. Hope anyone can help me. I have a 2002 Explorer 4.6V8. However the engine broke down. In sweden there aren´t many new engines to find. Can I replace it with a 5.4V8? Would there be any problem?

Hey guys, I've recently identified a vacuum leak (loud hiss, idle surging) coming from one of two fittings underneath the battery. Can someone tell me what is located there? I can make out "valve" marked on one of the lines, but I'm having trouble identifying what it is. Thanks
