Hi Guys,
I have a 00 EB Explorer and the passenger side side step is starting to drop since the metal piece it bolts to is all rusting out. Has anyone run into this problem? I am thinking about removing the side step and then welding ia new piece of metal so that I can attach the side step and trim piece back up. Right now, most of the plastic clips which hold the side steps are coming out due to rust.
