Got a 01 Ex V8 with the 4R70W. Has 145,000 miles on it. I picked it up two weeks ago, checked all the fluids and found it a quart low on tranny fluid. Filled it up before I left the dealer and all was fine. Got the 3-4 shudder twice in the last week (wasn't very hard), decided to do a pan drop/ VB check.
Low and behold I find this on the OD servo.
Is the shaved metal most likely from the servo cylinder wall like I think it is?
and if it is will I need to (oh god please no) drop the transmission to bore it/fix it?
