Hey guys, I just bought an 01 Ford Explorer Sport and I'm loving it. When I bought it though it had the ABS light on, the trans felt sluggish and the speedometer would go all over the place
After lurking on the forum a bit I figure out it was the Speed Sensor so I went and had it replaced. This fixed every problem! For about two days. Now I've got the exact same problem again. Could it be the speed sensor I bought was just defective? Now the truck seems to be shifting okay though (haven't driven it far enough to notice anything too off) but the speedometer is still wacky. It gets stuck at around 50MPH and then doesn't go down until I make a complete stop. Then it sprints back. Maybe I have to disconnect the battery to reset things? No idea. What do you guys think?
