I got a few pet peeves that I need to fix because its working my nerves now.
Truck-2001 exp xlt
HeadUnit- Pioneer avic-Z2
Sub-Audiobaun 10"
Amp-Planet Audio 1000w

1.) I have the metra double din install kit(95-5600). I cant get it to fit my z2, I ended up taking the single din frame of the kit and cutting both center splitter and upper bar off the frame to get it to work but it looks kind of hacked. Not a fan of it. I tried using the other frame(double din) but it just doesn't fit, its prevents the screen from opening and closing.. Any one have this issue?

2.) Sub woofer Feedback. I recently out of nowhere started getting feed back through my sub woofer. So far I've tried one of those radio shack inline RCA noise filters and that failed. I didn't get any sound from the sub at all with it plugged in. I read something about grounding the RCA's as well I'm not sure if that's true or not.

Subwoofer Pop when turning on the radio- Am I going to need a resistor inline with the remote or the voltage regulator?

Well #3 I rolled the dice on and went with the 4.7k ohm resistor and it fixed that issue. Im still stumped on #1 and 2.
