02 ford ranger ac compressor issue

Ok so my friend has an 02 ford ranger and the ac faded out over the last couple days and now just blows warm air.

my first thought jumped to "it needs to be recharged" my issue is i've never worked on a ford ranger before and if anyone can tell me where to find the L/P side of the compressor to fill it up that would be great!

Look for a black cylindrical tank around the passenger side with wires. There should be a fitting there.
