Went to start our 02 Explorer this morning and found that to lock the steering, the wheel needs to turn extremely to the left or right, and once locked needs to be turned further in the same direction or the key won't turn in the ignition to start it. Its too cold out there right now to dig into this without knowing what it might be so any help is GREATLY appreciated.
