02 mountaineer seat mod

i wanted to put 04 lincoln aviator seats in my 02 mountaineer i wanted to kno if this is possible becuz i kno on the aviator the seat control is on the door panel as for the mountaineer its on the side of the seat any help or info will help thanks

Try mountaineerforum.com, its plausable but you have plenty of things to consider. Making them fit wont be an issue with a little welding but controls are another problem, controls are not as easy as plug and play they go thru the cpu.

Good luck if you go this route. I did something simliar on a Ford Continental and it was a HUGE pain in the ass. Lot's of slicing, and damn near the whole dash was taken apart. After I was done I thought "boy, all that work for this?" Was not worth it to me.

I haven't seen Aviator seats in a while but if there the same shape and size u can change over just the skin.
