'02 Steering Wheel Replacement

I have an '02 XLT with leather but not a leather steering wheel. It also doesn't have radio controls.

I want to upgrade to either a leather covered (stock Explorer) steering wheel (with radio controls) or one from a Mountaineer...

The stereo is the 6-CD in dash changer. By plugging in the new wheel, will the radio controls work?

And will the airbag and cover fit if I use a Mountaineer steering wheel?

A '02 Mountaineer Steering wheel should work, I'm sure the Airbag connector is similar. If the connections are there for the radio controls, then I'm sure if you just plug a new wheel that has controls then it should work. I would check out what's under your airbag before you order a new wheel.
