Hey all. I just came in from checking out a noise that I still haven't located yet, and came across something else that seemed a little off to me.

Here are a few pics of the front sway bar end links.

Now, I'm no expert, but aren't they supposed to be 'bolted' to the sway bar? If so, should I replace them with Ford replacement parts, or aftermarket? Also, is this a common problem with 3rd gens?

Thanks in advance for any help/advice on this!!

Thanks for that info swshawaii. I think I'll be ordering a new pair this week...along with a few other front end pieces. :(

I bought moog links but they look nothing like those but they are made of metal. The stock plastic ones are garbage.

I think I'm gonna go ahead and order a set this weekend. Thanks for all the help/info!! ;)

I replaced mine with the Moog, I forget the price, less than $10 a piece from Summit Racing. I had to cut the old one off and installed the new. Less time than put on new pads.
Don't forget to grease the bushings!
