Here's my problem,
It appears to be in LIMP HOME mode, no check engine light or no indications of a problem with idiot lights, pulls strongs till 2 grand, and pretty stops there. Can put it in gear, selection works, it won't shift up can't get revs enough in order to do so or possibly speed as well. , All fuild levels look good.
Also just changed the steering column ( shift lever broke off) about 2 weeks ago, just passed smog a 1 wk ago.
Is this because of a tranny "limp mode" or do i need to look for something such as cat' being clogged up. I'll pick up my scanner tommorrow for codes but without any obvoius indications, a scanner is my only hope at the moment
