I just got my 02 XLT like 2 weeks ago, I do hear a slight whine, but its not overwhelming. I know I'm going to have to repair it sooner or later. I should of researched more. I owned a 98 XLT which I miss, It was totaled in an accident. So I went ahead and purchased a 02, which I love.
I know the rule is to fill up to the fill hole just wanted to make sure Ford didnt do otherwise.
