03 explorer put a new selonoid in o/d light still blinking?

The explorer had the service light and o/d light on for years before I bought it. It read the code for the selonoid. I got a new one changed the trans filter and installed the new one. It does shift slot better but after clearing the pcm codes no codes are showing up, the o/d light comes on blicking "o/d off" after driving a few miles or putting it in park while leaving the car run then back to driving. Anyone know how to fix this?

My 2004 had the flashing OD light. I found a burnt spot on the separator gasket at the torque converter solenoid. I also ended up changing the torque converter as well. Not sure which one actually fixed the problem. If you don't know the separator plate gasket is between the transmission and valve body.
