New to the forum, and I have an issue with an 03 Explorer I just took ownership of. I had the dreaded clicking noise coming from the rear a/c housing, so I purchased the pair of actuators and replaced them (thanks to this forum). While I was swapping them out, I noticed that the mix door seemed to get pretty tight when in the vertical position (for lack of better description). Never having worked on one of these before, I figured that maybe it was normal.
Now, not a week later, the blend door actuator is clicking again, and I have a feeling the door is stuck in place. Does anyone have an experience with the door sticking, and does anyone have a suggestion for repairing it?
Thanks in advance,
Dave
