I've got an '03 limited with the V8 all I can find so far for it is the K&N filter charger. I've heard good things about mods and getting better fuel economy (besides the obvious performance) for the explorer. Anyone know of a chip and exhaust kit made for the V8, it seems easy to find for the 6 but i havent turned up much for my 8.

well pretty much any exhaust will help fuel economy better than the factory setup.. the stock muffler pretty much maximizes backpressure which leads to crappy mileage... when u change out ur exhaust, pretty much any different system will give u about 1-2 mpg better since ur system can breathe better... same goes with the filter.. get rid of the stock airbox and get that K&n... ull be pleased

KKM makes an adapter for the air intake.....works pretty good and its cheaper than like K&N

KKM is garbage, go with the K&N or the MAC for your vehicle.
