My 04 explorer xlt v6 stalled out at a stop light two weeks ago. Towed it home after it wouldn't start back up. I replaced the TPS, cleaned the intake manifold and put in new gaskets. Reassembled and started it would only idle at 1000 rpm with no throttle response. Replaced the the throttle body it started up and was able to rev and then flashed a wrench warning light and died. Will not restart any suggestions?

Why did you start with the TPS and throttle body?

Code scan indicated the throttle body was bad. TPS was a guess.

Bunch of codes that have throttle issues. Could you post the actual code? It would help narrow down your issue.

Definitely need the codes.

Here's an old-school idea that probably won't help... Did you put the old TPS back in and see if that made any difference (just to rule out a faulty new part)?
