my friend has an 05 sport trac, this problem has me, the owner, and 2 glass shop owner, either feeling stupid, dumb, and/or lost. the window on the front pass side has an issue we cant firgure out, what its doing is it rolls down just fine and will roll up once just fine, do it again back down fine, rolling up it will only go about half way and stops, we can push on it and it will roll up the rest of the way almost acting like something is stopping it half way but needs a little push and its fine, sounds like a motor huh, well we tried 3 new motors all each with the small place it stops and the same outcome, the only thing we have had success with it spraying dry silicon in the tracs of the glass, the is no real sign that the regulator is bent, and so said two other glass shop owners, we are thinking of replacing the regulator next, but we are not sure if that will even slove the problem, what do you think?

Check the door insulator sleeves, they may be bent or slighty jammed with something. Did you test the switch itself?

yes checked the switches, at main drivers door, pass door, and on the actual motor wires, all have very little to no drop notices, im talking like the drivers said 12.5, pass side 12.46, motor was 12.43 with motor off. and was about the same difference with the motor running other then it being 14volts.

where is the door insulator sleeves at, and what do they do lol? i might know what they are just calling them something different just want to be sure.

The channel that the glass slides up the pillars of the door in. I've seen debris get lodged in there and stop/ slow down windows from going up. Also seen them get tweeked from slamming doors and hanging on the doors.
