06 4.0 rear timing chain guide broke

Ive got my 06 4.0 all stripped down in the truck and looks like i should be able to easily change both the front and rear timing chains. I have been reading over and over that it can not be done with the engine in the truck. Now that im at this point.... am i missing something because it looks like i can without issue. Again.. .this is a gen 4 so is that the difference? Just wondering.

Pull the engine or transmission, it's the only way to get to the bottom bolt.

transmissions already out and im trying to decide if im going to buy a new tranny or have this one rebuilt. Bores are worn.
