I recently sent my Head Unit out for repair because the LED's stopped working. I got back repaired and installed it but now my rear DVD doesn't work. I read previous forums and pulled fuses associated with the radio and DVD to try to reset. Still no luck. The power light is on and when I pulled fuse #3 for the radio and put it back in, the rear display read "non DVD" and went blank. I'm confident there's nothing wrong with the unit because I rarely used it. I don't think there's a DVD in it and I can't load one. The DVD doesn't even display the "ford" logo. It's just black. I'm hoping you can help so I don't have to spend boku cash at the dealer....Thanks!

I have an OEM nav in my EB but do not have the rear ceiling DVD. Maybe the head units are programed differently for the cars with rear DVD, and without. Many shops that do the unit repair, they just sent back an already fixed unit off the shelf, and keep yours for the next customer. You may have gotten a non-DVD unit, or you did not tell them that you have rear DVD and they did not program it properly ?

Just guessing.

Thanks but I'm pretty sure they sent back my exact HU. I had inconspicuous marks on it which are still there so I'm guessing they sent the same one back. I have a call in to them to see if they know what happened. In the mean time I'm going to pull it out, check wires, and pull the battery cables. If anyone else has ideas, I'm open!

Thanks Again!
