06 Explorer with a brake fluid low light on.

My 2006 explorer has the brake fluid low light on, which kicks on the brake light. However, the reservoir is full of brake fluid. Is it possible that the float in the reservoir has stuck?.

That is very possible that or the senser went bad .I have worked on this problem in the past and fix it with a brake flush if the plunger is stuck.

does the light actually say 'brake fluid low' or is it the 'brake' light. check that the parking brake pedal is all the way to the top.
