06 v6 spark plug change and trans fluid change

My explorer has 91k on it and was wondering if the spark plugs should be changed early and when the trans fluid should be changed. i only had luck with Motorcraft plugs on my 95 is the SOHC motor better with motorcraft plugs also. Also should wires be done with the plugs. Does a ford dealer flush the trans and if they do what does it have any bad effects on life of the trans.

If it were my truck, I'd definitely change the plugs. Either Motorcraft or Autolite. I use Autolite iridiums. As far as the tranny fluid, you could do research until the cows come home on flushing, etc., and would still be confused. I choose not to have mine flushed, and went to a good tranny shop and they dropped the pan, drained as much as possible and managed to get 2 gallons of new fluid into it. They also changed the filter. Yes I would also have the tranny fluid replaced.
