08 Ltd, Kenwood DDX6902s - Aftermarket head unit and backup camera ??

Greetings, Just recently installed a Kenwood and going to install the backup camera for it this weekend.

I have a choice to use the parking guide lines on the camera -OR- on the head unit (or both I suppose). The selection process involves cutting a wire on the camera BEFORE installation. Otherwise I'll have to remove the tailgat inner panel to change my selection.

My train of thought was (the lines on the head unit are adjustable, the lines on the camera are not). So I should probably go with the lines on the head unit.

Anyone have any experience with this?

I would try it both ways before putting the panel back on, I do understand your reasoning and it seems best but hey why not have a peek before clipping the wire? BTW my HU does not have lines so I am using the lines of the same camera you have.
