1-MEAN-X's '01 Sport SAS Registry

I have officially finished the SAS and have driven it to and from work a few times successfully with no real problems, so I will consider this stage complete.

FRONT:
1978 F-250 Dana 44 HP
Sky Manufacturing high steer arms
Hydro-assist steering
1990-ish Astro Van steering gear box drilled and tapped for the hydro-assist
Custom front cross member
Custom rear hangers
E-bay boomerang shackles
H1 double beadlock wheels
37x12.5x16.5 BFG Baja military tires
Stock 4.10 gears (Puke) <--- Will be upgraded when I get the money

Rear:
1978 F-250 Dana 60
1980-ish Chevy K20 disk brake conversion
Stock leaf springs hangers etc.
Matching 4.10 gears

That's what I can think of worth mentioning off the top of my head.

The link to the build is in my signature. The bumper is also custom built and is also in my signature.

I will hopefully get some better non poser shots this summer.

Lovin the EX. Question, did you upgrade the axle shafts? I've read in a couple places that D44s need to be upgraded in order to run anything over a 35" tire.

They don't HAVE to if you don't hammer down on them. 37" is about the transition between D44 and D60. I have not yet, but would like to as they break.

Got it, thanks! That bumper is perfect too. I can't wait to get my welder next year.

Would you be able to take a picture of the boomerang shackles from the side so I can see where you mounted the perches, and see the angle of the shackles just sitting flat. I'm in the process of doing my SAS and am having trouble getting the 4" shackles (included in the sky fab S-10 SAS kit) to sit at a decent angle when I put the truck on it's own weight. I'm using Ranch 44044 lift springs for a GW. Thanks .
