My 92 XL has turned over 408,000 Kms. (about 255,000 miles). I told my son he can have it when it hits 500,000! Probably before the year is out.
Still original engine and trans, although I did have to have some trans work done on it about 100,000kms ago and I have replaced the intake manifold gaskets twice.
Other work, too: hubs, brakes, shocks, etc. All the stuff I see posted on here :)

I guess we've already paid our dues for this club!

I'm not gonna get excited till I hit 250k, which won't be a for a while. No more college = no more college trips. I got a lot of hard miles and great memories out of this rolling catastrophe so far, but it looks like it will keep moving for a while. I probably ought to gie it a break and stop racing it. Hooray for all of us; driving down the cost of the vehicle by using it more.

230k miles on my 91 4x4 ! no comments I dont want to jinx any thing. :D

178,000 miles on my 91 XL 5-sp. Tranny rebuilt at 80k after daily abuse in NJ. Waiting to clear the 200k mark before looking at the tranny again. Reliable truck...

107,000 miles on my 97 EB. No major work so far, just prevenative maintenince. (Crossing fingers)

I have 152,000 on my 91 X. I have done lots of work but nothing major, like a tranny or engine. so far so good.

Mines cruising at 136k miles. Thats right, in 7 years, 136k miles. My father and I have shown it no mercy! :p.

One time, the engine blew up in West VA because my dad was too cheap to fix the temperature gauge, but thats about it: rolleyes: Cost about 2000 big ones to fix.

Not to mention his 02 is on its way as well. In the less than a year we have owned it he has put 25k on it.:

117,000 on my 96 XLT V8

I need a new TCase badly, and aside from constant ball joint issues, it runs pretty damn good.

mfarlow,

Just a word of advice on your tcase... I had to replace the one in my 96 V8 AWD... I wheel mine pretty hard so I'm not suprised that it blew... But just and FYI, incase you didn't know... in 95-97 your VSS (speedo) comes off the tcase, in 98 and up it comes off the rearend... Now, if you can get an AWD tcase from a 98 and up, you can crack them both open and bolt the rear half of your tcase with the VSS sensor to the front of the 98 and up tcase... And it will work, I'm running mine that way now and haven't had a single problem... If you do this you'll also need the front driveshaft from a 98 and up though because they changed them in 98...

Are you the original owner, and have you had any problems?

130k on my '97. It's a POS.

I've sunk $10k into this turd and this doesn't include trips to the nasty Ford (Fraud) dealer for all the recalls.

This amount doesn't take into account the near $1k for the blend door problem, seat belts that don't retract anymore and a host of other problems that haven't been dealt with.

If it wasn't paid for I'd get a Tundra and say adios to this loser company once and for all.

I hit 250K miles last week in my 88 BII.

:)

Shes better than new now with only body and frame being stock for the most part.

Things done in the last year:
4.0L engine
Custom A4ld tranny
cut and turned D35 ttb
disc braked 8.8
gears, lift, etc etc etc....

Fords LAST a long long time and they can take the abuse, well at least the older ones do.

dont get me wrong if I didnt inherit this truck 7 years ago she would be crushed by now for sure........

Just bought a 2000 Sport a few months ago and just flipped 100,000 last week. No real problems with it so far. I am glad I bought it. This site is giving me so many options to do with it. Since I had to give up my Mustang I have been looking for ways to make this better than the Mustang.

I'll be honest, I do not know much about suspension and other stuff on trucks. What would this upgrade do for me?

Thanks:cool:

Heh...I'll be in the club tomorrow!!! The odometer is showing 99,982 miles. I'll be sure to take a pic tomorrow when it hits 100k.
