I have a 2013 ecoboost that has been rattling and progressively getting worse. It’s worse with AC on sometimes you turn off the ac and the rattle goes away but it’s worse at idle doesn’t happen much when you’re accelerating. I have a video but don’t know how to post it.

Welcome to the Forum.
There are a few threads on the "rattle" and some refer to the issue as being the turbo wastegate.

If the noise sometimes goes away just by turning off a/c that would lead me to believe it has something to do with the extra "pull" on the motor/belt with the clutch engaged. And it only does it at idle so I'm thinking you should look at having a warn out belt or tensioner or both. Make sure if you determine it's the belt you get the motorcraft and heavy duty version if they offer it. Cheap belts don't stand up to the heat from the engine and may likely cause the tensioner to bottom out and rattle.
