18" 35's

Any thoughts on a 95 sport with 3"bl and 2"tt and american racing 18 by 9.5 and 35 12.5 18 bfg's
How much fender trim needed?
I know the 18's will have less sidewall flex = good road, bad off road?
thanks

Welcome!!

1) They won't fit with only 5" of total lift, unless you went with glass fenders or trimmed/cut the fenders.

2) At $100 more a tire, doesn't seem worth it.

3) Worse offroad. Once you deflate those tires some, you take a good chance of hurting those high dollar wheels. I guess they would be better onroad, but is that really a concern with 35s?:p

With that amount of lift and 35's your not just only gonna have to trim the tupperware but you gonna have to HACK the fenders a good bit.

I dont know about you, but I've seen 18's on 35's (tahoe & 6in lift) and IMO I think it looks ridiculous :thumbdwn: . The 35's look smaller and overall it just looks disproportional with the truck. I'd just stay with 15s, or 16s if you want something a bit bigger.

yeah you're lookin at some serious fender trimming there bud. The only time I think any bigger than a 15" rim looks cool with big tires is when these guys are puttin like 40" swampers on dubs... crazy lookin. I vote you stick with 15" or 16" rims, save a hell of a lot of money and tires will look bigger.
