18" factory chrome wheel covers

Hi,

Just picked up my 2010 V8 LTD 2WD last weekend. Love the truck but hate the fake chrome wheels. Can the covers be removed? Is the wheel underneath finished or too ugly to use? Anyone have a picture of the wheels sans covers?

I was unaware that any Sport Tracs came with steel wheels and hub caps.
Are you sure you do not have chrome wheels?

They're definately chrome covers as others have mentioned. Just wondering if they can be removed and if the unerlying wheels are presentable.

I think they're aluminum's with chrome covers - it's the 18"s that come with the chrome package, like mine. I hate them too, but I'd recommend just getting something different because they'll probably look like crap underneath.

Yeah, I ordered some replacements. Should have them on in a day or 2.
