They look pretty good. Lots of $$$ though

Yea, a little costly at $750. But damn! Those 18 x 10s are huge! That would make a great looking set up with 18x10 in the back and 18x9 in the front.

I was going to do this to my '98 sport, but I feel in love with the chrome all over again. Pretty dam pricey in my eyes, could get a set of 20s for only a hundred or two more. Though, if you like them, go for it!

Too much $ for a rather bland looking rim. I can also say that a 18x10 will not work on an Explorer.

well, since i bought them before i even asked you guys, i guess is doesnt matter too much. question, should i throw some larger tires on the back with the 1.5" drop. And and keep a smaller tire on front with nodrop shocks on front. or drop the whole way around?

bigger in back with an all around drop

If you have 4x4 you have to make sure the tire height match all away around. Good luck with it. I hope you get them to fit right. Don't worry about a minor rubbing at full turn, everyone gets that around here. :D

Go with a 255/55 on front and a 285/50 on the rear. They are both the same height and look awesome on those wheels. Expo5.0 has this exact same setup on his X only his are white.

These are the same ones I posted on an earlier thread and I love them. I might just go with 20's though considering the cost. Saving the dough as we speak. Anyone have a good site for 20's w/ tire packages cheap?

does expo have a 10" in the rear with the 9" in the front?

yes, i have the wide ones in the back. also i have ZERO rubbing up front even over small bumps at full lock. i do run 255/55 and 285/50 front and rear as well. there is no reason it will rub at all, and in fact it is closer to rubbing in the rear than the front (a little wheel well modification was required in the rear for me, just rerouting the emergency brake lines)

what tires are you running? im pretty sure im going with the toyo's, unless someone can talk me out of it. ;)

the nitto 404s, you'd be a fool to run anythign else. i've owned 6 sets of sport truck tires and these destroy the rest.

Boomin, What did you pay for your white rims for ur Mountaineer????

What Mustang rims will fit on a 97 sport?. I am looking for 17s or 18s mostly

so i got the wheels in and on the x. they look great. wish i had a camera to get some pics on here.

although i seem to be having a problem with getting them balanced. they were done when originally put on. as soon as i got on the highway around 70mph it started to shake. so i brought them back the next day and got them rebalanced. the problem isnt as bad but could still better.

anyone else, maybe expo, have a similar problem?
