I need info on how to quickly tell whether I have a 1 or 2 solenoid A4LD.
Is the plug on the left front of the transmission? Where is the neutral switch as it has 2 wires also? I have no door stickers. I can't get under the truck safely (On busy street) at the moment. I have a transmission ready to order out of another 1988 Ranger but not sure if mine was built mid-1988 when they went to 2 solenoid. It's 100.00 shipping each way and I'm not ASSuming anything. Pictures would help. I'm basically clueless about automatic transmissions.
