I have a 1992 Explorer and I have already replaced my dog leg on my passenger side due to rust. I noticed when I was cleaning it the other day that underneath the dog leg (under the truck where you can't see it) that I had some surface rust appearing. What can I do about this? Sand it down and cover it with something? Thanks.
