1994 4wd explorer; rear LIMITED SLIP differential

Rear limited slip diff has clunk when trans is engaged and surging when brake is applied as if it were trying to engage. Anyone have this issue???

The clunk is fairly normal, and I wouldn't worry about it too much. A LS differential does not engage, it is not a locker. the surging is most likely warped rotors.
