1994 Aerostar mini van with stalling problems.

I have a 1994 Aerostar that has recently started stalling when putting it into gear. Will keep running as long as it is in drive or neutral but when put into gear, difficult to keep running. Feel like I'm not getting enough fuel when pushing the accelerator. Running ****ty to say the least. Help!!!

Welcome to this forum! Do you have a check engine light? Did you clean the idle air control valve?

one easy check is to make sure the intake bellows tube from the air filter box to the intake at the engine is well seated and tight, but the rubber seal is not deformed by overtightening.

if you want to remove it to make sure there are no obstructions in it, like a shop towel, all the better. While you're at it, check the Air Filter, replace if needed. Those checks will eliminate the air intake from the stalling problem.
