I have a '94 Aerostar Van. It has 3 or 4 known problems that I haven't solved yet and I would appreciate any help or suggestions.
1) When I got the van a few months ago it would "lunge" at stop lights. I'd just be sitting at the light and the van would try to leap forward. Glad I had my foot on the brake or I would have smacked the car in front of me.
2) The speedometer stays at zero but jumps violently.
3) The odometer (digital) flashes/blinks rapidly.
4) Now when I am driving down the road the van ? (lunging, surging, braking).
It really feels like riding along at speed and someone keeps stepping on the brake every few hundred feet, over and over. It doesn't stop. Just riding-brake- riding-brake- riding- brake.
