I am currently Replacing a set of cracked heads with New Heads.

This tube snapped off while removing the hose from the lower intake, it seems to be completely rusted away and doesn't seem to be threads inside the intake.

This hose runs from the lower intake to the Heater core Via the valve.

Can you help me identify this part and how / if I can fix it?

I would measure the hole, and then find an appropriate size NPT tap to match a replacement (preferably brass) hose barb to thread into the intake manifold.
That "pressed in" (factory) crap pisses me off!

Just Solved this issue permanently.
Brass Threaded Pipe
3/8 NPT Tap
Some elbow grease

Use a good teflon tape or past on the threads. Without the "bulb" at the end of the pipe, keep an eye on the hose to make sure it does not slide off the pipe, it would help to maybe use to clamps too.

Two ideas:
1) Compression Ferrule
2) I don't know the diameter but it may be able to be adapted to a hose barb somehow.
