1995 Ranger headrests.

I have a 1995 Ranger XL with the bench seat. I need to remove the headrests to put on a new seat cover, but cannot figure out how to get the posts out of the bech seat. Any ideas

I had to remove the head rest on my wifes Sunfire.
There were clip rings on the end of the shafts in the head rest to prevent it from being pulled all the way out.
I had to reach under the seat upholstery from the back of the seat to remove them.
I know my experience wasnt on a ranger but your truck may have similar way of being attached.
