I 1996 ford explorer that i having touble with. when i am on the freeway
between 60mph- 70mph i have a growling or thumping noise that i can feel thought my steering wheel and seat ( not shaking) more of a vibration.??? . but when i am under 60. no noise ?? I a have had the front and back driveline banlance with new u-joints. what i did today was lifted the car on jack stands and ran it about 30mph and felt serius vibration cant find out what it is ... any help would be great

Welcome to the Forum. You might want to check the bushings in the front suspension. They tend to wear out and cause a bunch of issues for the front end. I had the same problem with mine. You will have to cut the rivets to the arm to drop it down and access the bushing.
 






check the engine bushings. easy to replace
