I replace the fuel pump on a 96 explore XLT I can no longer get fuel to the fuel rail pass the feel regulator to the rail I think I've got a vacuum problem but I'm not sure what should my back and be at idle I replaced the pump been through two filters PCV valve A new fuel regulator and a different computer the computer seem to brighten things up a bit but still can't get pressure to the rail I am now looking at a new EGR pressure feedback sensor do you think this will help i've been avoiding pull in the intake manifold to change the fuel rail pressure sensor I don't think that's the problem

EGR has nothing to do with fuel and can wait until you get the pump straightened out.

1) Did you check for voltage at the pump terminals?
2) Is the inertia cutoff switch tripped (it is near the passengers right foot)?
3) What brand of Fuel pump (some are truly junk)?
