1996 ford explorer

I bought a 2000 and I am swapping in the a/c to my 1996 but at the accumulator the plug is different. Not sure what was there on the 96 as it was all removed but the connector is different.

Can post pics just not sure how.

the low pressure switch can be changed/unthreaded from the 99 style to the 96 style
OR
you can swap the 99 wiring plug onto your 96

You should change the orifice tube while you are in there

Ok I have the 2000 plug but what color wires go to each other ??

not sure it matters, the switch makes up contact of both wires until there is low pressure then it cuts contact.
What are the colors you are dealing with?
