I want to do someting to my truck to increase performance what should it be? The truck is totally stock right now but I'm getting the itch to do something to it. I was looking for the best place to start. If I sell the Mustang I'm gonna definately be speed deprived. Any and all suggestions are welcome.

I'd follow the order you set in the poll. 1) Exhaust 2)Intake 3) Wires (you don't need to waste money on "performance" plugs. stock motorcraft replacements are as good as any "performance" plug) 4) Chip, TB and MAF.

do as I did on my 96 Limited AWD V-8

1. Exhaust ( flowmasters )
2. Cam, roller lifters, double timing chain, headers
3. Supercharger, fuel pump, chip
4. In-line fuel pump, injectors, fuel regulator, more boost, MSD Ign, Mass Air

and you will need a shift kit in there too

Next on my list are alum heads... then a stroker!!!
have fun

Why do you say that the so called
performance" plugs are no better than a Ford plug? There have been many discussions here about performance/gas milage improvement when using these plugs.

Also, what do you think of "performance" spark plug wires?

Thanks....

Ditch the stock air box. I picked up a good bit of power on my 97 Limited. It has a cool sound too.
