Hey all, just joined the forum and so far it has been very helpful on a few other issues. Ok so here's what I got, 97 AWD Mounty with fairly low miles only 109K,I just bought it a few months ago and its been great! only real issue I've noticed is at low speed, like maybe 5-10 MPH somewhere in the drive line it howls or whines like crazy, it also gets louder when the wheels are turned while moving. after speeding up the noise is really no longer noticeable.
My best guess is either Transfercase or front Diff making the noise? I've checked the wheel bearings and those seem to be fine. Anyone else had similar issue??
