1998 ford ranger door lock cylinder won't turn

I've checked other threads related to door lock problems on Rangers, and can't tell if they're the same or just similar to mine. I have a 98 Ranger, no electric locks or windows, and the key will no longer turn the cylinder to lock & unlock the door (started on driver's side and spread to passenger side later). Have tried different keys including factory cut ones, but that doesn't work either.
Any ideas?

I'd try spraying some WD40 in there.
