Work In Progress

I just recently found this forum, and got my ranger a year back as a hand me down in the family. Previously owned by a mechanic. It is in GREAT condition but I feel it could use some real modifications.

Planned Modifications:
Underglow
Innerglow(under seat forward and backward, also under dash)
Light console(incl. cup holders)
LED Dome light
Puddle lights
New cluster(or at least try and get rid of the regular GREEN, drives me nuts)
Changing all internal lights from Green to Blue(like the color of the AC light)

Fix a few rust spots from old running boards, and replace the front bumper
Also looking into LED tail/parking lights and some new kind of headlights.

I have some before pics, but I will share those later when this project is done over the next few months.

As you see I think this is going to be a real kicking thing, also on top of that I was thinking of adding some missle switches in under the thermostat to control lights, and then work on the stereo system. I have a 98 XLT so I was thinking of reaming out the two rear cubby holes, and putting some subwoofers into there with the amp.. well somewhere.

You learn pretty quick with a truck like this, that there really isnt anywhere you can just throw an amp, except really under the seat. It has two main seats, and two fold seats in the back. I want all 4 to still be accesible so I am going to mount everything under the seats and into the door panels. :) yes 4x4.

If you can think of anything else ingenious I should do, send me a tip, for now I am just working on coming up with the money/parts for this project along with an idea on howto get it all done in a day or two.

On a side note this is a LUXURY package
Power Doors
Power Mirrors
Power Steering
Cruise Control
AC
Autostart w/keyremote
6 CD changer(from a newer ford fits nicely in the double din)
4X4 High/Low - Electric.
4 Doors(two small ones in the back, only 2 that are reg. sized)
120k+ miles on it, still running pretty damn good.

Also this truck is fitted with a cover for the bed, its soft so it rolls up easy, along with clips that run along the cover mounts, for above the stuff clamps.

:)
