what would cause my tranny to just stop working without warning. park still works but it will not go in any gear. when you put the selector in any position the engine chugs out, please helpeek:

What is "chugs out"? Does the engine stall when you select any gear position? Does the engine not stall if you shift out of park into neutral? If the engine stalls when placed in gear, the Torque Converter Clutch is engaged, due either to electrical malfunction, or mechanical malfunction. imp
