Okay so the center console part that holds drinks and stuff... The paint has been coming off. And i want to fix it. Has anyone had this problem? Im going to repaint it but i dont know what kind of paint to use so that it wont come off. Anyone got any ideas??

I will be interested to hear answers on this too. Just looking at my console yesterday. Looks thicker and a bit more rubbery than just mere paint.

pop it out, go to the junk yard, pop one out of another explorer and pop it right into yours... not very complicated.. and costs about $10.00... i did it
