Sorry if this is posted incorrectly or in the wrong area, I will remove and/or repost in the correct please if I need to.

So I have a 2011 Ford Explorer Limited with around 80k miles, I am not the original owner. I've had several problems and have some questions...

I recently brought my car into ford because the power steering went out and it was showing messages for "Service Advance Track" and "Service Power Steering" also another one for ABS.
I was hoping this was going to be covered under the recall BUT I ended up paying $2000 almost for a new steering rack (which I question if I even needed). Fast forward 2 weeks and now the car won't start I hear the starter clicking and im getting power inside the car as far as light go and the message im getting now is "Check Brake System". I dont have to money to bring this thing to Ford again.

I should also add my hazard light button isn't working but the actual lights do when I use my turn signals and I have another message about a tire pressure sensor not working. My roof leaks from somewhere when it rains hard and I'm wondering if the electrical might be damaged from rain water. Any suggestions?

Also I did drive around for quite awhile with a check engine light on (dont remember the EXACT code) for o2 sensor in bank 2 and I never did replace that the check engine light is off now.

Do you have a sunroof?

Are your headlights bright? It’s possible you have enough juice to run the accessories, but not start the car. This can also be the case with poor connections.

Welcome to the forum. If you have a sunroof the drains could be plugged up causing water to leak into the truck. As far as the no start & just clicking check the connections at the battery for corrosion & make sure they are tight.

Why wasn't the rack covered? Did you push back on the dealer?

Welcome to the Forum Wesv1988.
A recall 14S06 was issued for the steering rack issue and a further Supplemental Warranty 15N01 was issued to extend it to 10 years from the original vehicle warranty start date. Depending on when your Explorer was first put in service you may still be covered.
As for the starting issue, it is always best to have the battery tested first before proceeding on to anything else.
If the Check Brake System light stays on I think that would be a very important item to have checked out.
The 4-way issue could possibly be a bad connection/contact.
A blocked moonroof drain will result in water pooling in the footwell depending on which drain is blocked. You haven't said where the water is coming in or what is wet. There were issues concerning water penetration from the roof rack and liftgate seams. This would result in water pooling in the spare tire well.
