Where is the best place to order a 2 inch add a leaf for a 1997 explorer?

Welcome to the site
4wheelparts.com, summitracing.com, & many other places will have them. The add-a-leaf for yours will be the same as '91-'01 (I think it is 01).

you have a 97 sport... do you have a leaf pack on your truck or the monoleaf? if its the monoleaf you cant use and AAL

Duh I didn't realize you had a sport.

If you still have the stock monoleaf, you can swap them out for a set of 4dr Explorer leaf springs and then add in the AAL.

if you swap them out for a 4 door leaf pack, then you probably wont even eed the all

It does have the mono spring. Is the swap a bolt in swap or do you have to change the shackles to?

It's bolt on. You don't have to change the shackles but you can swap them with Warrior 1.5" lift shackles if you want.

Putting in a 4dr leaf pack at the same time as the AALs would be best, I didn't enjoy going back later and putting in the AAL. Once they both settle in, it will be 100x's better than before.
