I already have a 2.5" sus lift, and want to go bigger....The only problem is i wanted to do spacer/shackles but i would need TTB drop brackets. And those arent too cheap. I changed my mind to a body lift so it would be less costly, and less dickin around. Ive heard bad things about body lifts like bumper brackets, steering extensions, and gaps. I plan on getting the 2" PA body lift from JCWhitney. It includes front and rear bumper bracekts, but i heard they dont work too good, and i have a brush guard so that might complicate things a little.....I need some advice on my dilemma Thanks!

I think the kit for your year X is fine because they actually make one for it. For 2nd gens they don't so that is where people have the problems.

I just installed the PA lift from jc whitney and it only comes with the rear bumper brackets and they do not even get close to fitting. i have a brush guard too and it looked terrible with my bumpers hangin low so i got creative and made some real strong brackets on my own looks killer now! other than that the steering extension is a breeze to put in the body lift was pretty easy too all in all only took me 6 hours to install good luck jaydub

will this PA bL that u have fit a 99 4 door? the main thing is the blocks and the bolts , right? i think i can fab the bumber to fit. what is the part # ad how much was it?

Go to JCWhitney.com and look up the lift for your year truck im sure they have it i dont have the part number off hand the 2 inch bl was 89.99 and the 3 inch was like 99.99 1 gen kits are probably completely different because of the radiator shroud mounts e-brake relocater brackets and steering extention - but honestly i dont know but it sure felt good acting like i did
