1st question: Can a 97 AWD explorer drive in sand?...my neighbor said it cant, but my aunt said hers does but yea i wanna make sure before i do it

2nd: whats the biggest rimsize i can put on and be safe to drive in the sand [if the truck can do that]...18s right?..correct me if i'm wrong

welcome to the forum!

yeah, it can drive in the sand.. air down the tires to about 15 psi and you should be good to go.. search the forum for "awd sand" and you might get some good threads to read up on how they take their awd's on some sand fun..

18's might be ok with proper tire height.. i dont know about 18's on skinny tires and sand..

there are a few members here riding on 20's and i think i saw one with 24's on :dunno: search the tire section for enlightenment :D

thnx bro, that helped

yea i wudnt put skinnys on, i juss wanted some kinda "bling" and be able to beach it up aha
