Has anyone done anything with moving the trip computer display that resides in the consol just below the dash. I had two ideas:
1) Move the display and buttons to somewhere else so the space could be used for other gear like a monitor or processors.
2) Figure out if the output of the trip computer could be adapted to display on a regular video monitor. This would allow me to get rid of the oversized, waste of space dot matrix green display.
If anyone has any ideas about this or possible solutions with links please let me know!!!
BTW, here is my current explorer. Going to be switching out the amps really soon as I just picked up some used Arc Audio amp. Will be replacing the Avionixx 600.4 and 400.2 with a Arc Audio 4050 and 1500d-r. Should be a noticible upgrade in SQ and power.
