Ok just got home a little while ago and my daughter's Explorer won't start. She drove it Tuesday night and ran fine, parked it in driveway and then this morning it will crank but no start. I checked fuel pump and it's priming and engine just cranks. The first time I tried to start it I cycled the key 3 or 4 times first and it "almost" sounded like it wanted to start but then no fire. Tried starter fluid and no difference so I know fuel isn't the problem. Getting dark and don't want to work on it in the driveway so it may wait till Saturday. My big question is could it be the coil pack? It has 187,x.. miles on it and has been a great truck but this just came out of nowhere.

Yes it could be a coil pack
I would start looking for a fuse the whole coil pack going at one time sounds slim to me
Search in the search bar at the top of the page
Coil pack test
I assume you have a ohm meter
